Asian Management and Development Institute (member of AMDI Group) named as Asian Development Bank’s No. 1 Vietnamese consulting firm

AMDI kept its position as the Asian Development Bank’s (ADB) Top Vietnamese Consultant for five years from 2016 to 2020 based on the ADB’s Country Fact Sheet published on April 2021.

In the context of Covid-19 and phasing out of ODA for Vietnam leading to significant decrease in consulting sector, AMDI kept its position as the 1st consulting firm from Viet Nam Involved in Consulting Services Contracts under ADB Loan, Grant, and Technical Assistance Projects for consecutive years 2019-2020.

Top 5 consulting firms from Vietnam Involved in Consulting Service Contracts under ADB Loan, Grant, and Technical Assistance Project are updated and published annually in the ADB’s Fact Sheet based on total awarded contract amount. Accordingly, the total accumulated contract amount awarded to AMDI from 1 January 2016 to 31 December 2020 is 7.60 million USD for 4 sectors of Agriculture, natural resources, and rural development; Education; Industry and Trade and public management, keeping its lead over other Vietnamese-incorporated consulting firms registered with ADB.

“It gives me great pride and happiness that AMDI has kept its top ranking among Vietnamese-registered consulting firms doing business with ADB, especially in our 15th anniversary event. We are 15, and we are No.1.” - Mr. Nguyen Tien Duc, COB of AMDI Group, Director of AMDI

Since AMDI was founded in 2006, it has built an enviable reputation for its consistently outstanding performance in conducting project management consulting services for development projects and researches across a wide range of sectors. To date, AMDI has opened its market to other countries in the region such as Laos, Cambodia … and has completed more than 200 projects.

“The challenge for us is to keep this ranking. With the great efforts of the AMDI’s leaders and staffs and support of partners and consultants, I am confident that we can do it. We look forward to partnering with new partners and consultants and strengthening our portfolio to other countries in the coming years,” said Mr. Nguyen Tien Duc.
