AMDI sponsors the Brocade Project Promoting Ethnic Culture

The Asian Management and Development Institute (AMDI) is proud to sponsor and support the Brocade Project, a notable initiative aimed at promoting the cultural heritage of the Tay ethnic group in Cao Bang province. As an organization committed to empowering youth and developing high-quality human resources for the country, AMDI views this project as a significant opportunity to showcase Vietnam's cultural diversity to both national and international audiences and to enable young people to participate in meaningful community activities.

On April 27, 2025, the Brocade Project held its first event - the Upland Region workshop at Thanh Xuan Park (Hanoi). This event, organized by members of the Brocade Project Club with the participation of students from various Hanoi high schools such as the HNUE High School for Gifted Students, Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, HUS High School for Gifted Students, My Dinh High School, Phan Dinh Phung High School, etc., showcased traditional handicrafts and specialties of the Tay ethnic group, including brocade items, traditional costumes, and OCOP (One Commune One Product) products from Cao Bang.

The project team and children participated in a drawing activity about Tay ethnic culture at the exhibition.

AMDI's participation in this event reaffirms the organization's commitment to nurturing the talent and leadership of the younger generation. By providing a platform to experience and appreciate ethnic cultural values, AMDI hopes to instill a sense of pride and responsibility in young people. This initiative aligns perfectly with AMDI's mission to contribute to the development of high-quality human resources for Vietnam, particularly among youth, by encouraging their involvement in projects with tangible social impacts.

The Brocade Project is not merely a charitable activity but also serves as a bridge between tradition and modernity. It provides opportunities for youth to learn about the traditions of the Tay people and share these values with the wider community, including international friends and tourists.

AMDI is honored to partner with this meaningful project, supporting its mission to promote and preserve the unique cultural heritage of the Tay people in Cao Bang, while also contributing to the development of young talents. Through such collaborations, AMDI continues to affirm its commitment to developing high-quality human resources, contributing to the nation's development, and enhancing Vietnam's position on the international arena.

Please stay tuned for further updates on AMDI's efforts in supporting youth and community projects like the Brocade Project.
