On September 15th 2021, the Joint Venture of Asian Management and Development Institute (AMDI – Lead firm, Vietnam), and COTETEC Equipment Sole Co. LTD (JV member, Laos) signed a consulting contract to provide Technical Assistance for Project Implementation for Sustainable Rural Infrastructure and Watershed Management Sector Project – SRIWMS worth 1.476.904 USD in 2 provinces namely Luang Prabang and Xayaboury with Department of Irrigation, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.

The SRIWMS Project is an ODA project using ODA loans from the Asian Development Bank and under the management of Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry within 7 years. The project will be implemented in 5 provinces namely Vientiane, Luang Prabang, Xayaboury, Xieng Khouang and Houaphan, Lao PDR.
The signed consulting service contract implemented by the Joint Venture of AMDI – COTETEC and Department of Irrigation, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Lao PDR will be implemented in 2 provinces namely Luang Prabang and Xayaboury within 72 months, starting from September 2021 to September 2027 with the aim of coordination and support to the Project Management Unit in Prabang and Xayaboury provinces to implement the Project activities.
Over the years, AMDI has always been at the top of the consulting firms in Vietnam trusted by ADB to implement projects with grants and loans from ADB. The newly signed consulting contract between AMDI- COTETEC Joint Venture and Department of Irrigation, Laos has shown the outstanding efforts of AMDI in orientation for development and expanding its influence to the markets of countries in Asia. This is the third contract of AMDI in 2020-2021 in Lao PDR. This affirmed the AMDI’s position in Lao’s market and contributed to the realization of the GOAL to become one of the leading consulting firms in providing education, training, consulting and research services in the Asian Region.
