On December 18, 2025, at the National Academy of Education Management (under the Ministry of Education and Training), the Asia Management and Development Institute (AMDI) participated in the seminar “Meeting Employers – Connecting with Students”, an event aimed at strengthening the linkage between education and labor market needs.
Representing AMDI, Ms. Bế Thị Hoàng Yến, Deputy Director of AMDI, joined the seminar as a keynote speaker, sharing valuable insights into future workforce development trends, priority recruitment demands, and strategic orientations for enhancing students’ competencies in the context of regional and international integration.
During her presentation, Ms. Bế Thị Hoàng Yến emphasized AMDI’s approach to practice-oriented education, learner-centered development, and the importance of building holistic competencies for students. Beyond professional knowledge, employers today place increasing emphasis on soft skills, critical thinking, adaptability, a strong sense of responsibility, and professional work ethics key elements that AMDI consistently integrates into its training, capacity-building, and internship programs.
In addition, AMDI’s representative shared practical recruitment experiences, employers’ expectations of interns, and provided actionable recommendations to help students proactively prepare for their career pathways, enhance employability, and achieve sustainable professional development.
The seminar served as a valuable platform for AMDI to reaffirm its role as a trusted partner of educational institutions and students, contributing to narrowing the gap between training and real-world workforce demands, while creating further opportunities for collaboration, internships, and employment within AMDI’s growing professional network.
